Octagonal Paving Stone Mould
Block Mould manufactures steel moulds for producing the BM PS M9 paving stone on industrial concrete block machines. Different steel and wear-resistant material options are selected according to customer preferences and production requirements. The specified paving stone dimensions are 238 × 238 mm. Moulds are prepared for 60 or 80 mm product heights, with 100 and 110 mm options available on request.
Octagonal Profile and Laying Compatibility
This model features an eight-sided outline, a flat upper surface and perimeter chamfers. The lengths of the diagonal sides between the main edges, corner transitions and side spacer projections are defined in the technical drawing.
When combined with compatible square or other complementary pavers, adjoining edge dimensions and joint spacing are reviewed together. The complete octagonal profile is therefore considered alongside the overall width and length.
Mould cavities and tamper shoes are prepared to reproduce the approved edge geometry and surface details. Working clearances are evaluated for concrete compaction and vertical product release.
Machine-Specific Mould Layout
The orientation of the octagonal pavers on the production board and spacing between cavities are determined during layout design. Output per cycle is evaluated alongside the board dimensions, machine working area and mould mounting details.
The selected product height defines the required mould working height and tamper assembly configuration.
Technical Approval and Quotation
Before manufacturing, a technical drawing showing the product dimensions, octagonal profile, chamfers, spacer projections and cavity arrangement is submitted for customer approval. Material selection and final mould specifications are confirmed during quotation.
Send your machine brand and exact model, production board dimensions, required product height, output per cycle and dimensioned product drawing. Include photographs of your existing mould and machine. For combined paving layouts, also share an image of the intended pattern.
