Custom Steel Mould for 500 mm Kerbstones
Block Mould manufactures the BM KS M1 50cm as a custom steel kerbstone mould for industrial concrete block machines. The finished kerbstone measures 500 mm in length, with a cross-section 300 mm high, 120 mm wide at the top and 150 mm wide at the base.
Kerbstone Profile and Design Details
This model has a straight back and an upper front face that slopes towards the narrower top. The lower straight section of the front face is 150 mm high.
The cross-section, 500 mm product length and end faces are considered together in the mould design. The front face angle, transition point and any requested chamfers are defined in the dimensioned technical drawing. When reproducing an existing kerbstone, its drawing and measurements serve as the reference.
Machine-Specific Mould Layout
The mould box, tamper assembly and mounting details are prepared for the customer's concrete block machine. The number of kerbstones produced per cycle and the cavity arrangement are determined according to the machine model and production board dimensions.
Working clearances for concrete filling, compaction and product release are considered in the mould design.
Technical Approval and Quotation
A technical drawing showing the kerbstone profile, product length, mould layout and machine mounting details is submitted for customer approval. Material options and final mould specifications are confirmed during quotation. Manufacturing begins after approval of the drawing and specifications.
For a quotation, send your machine manufacturer and exact model, production board dimensions, required number of products per cycle and dimensioned kerbstone drawing. For replacement moulds, include photographs of the existing mould and tamper assembly.
