Zigzag Interlocking Paving Stone Mould
Block Mould manufactures steel moulds for producing the BM PS M7 paving stone on industrial concrete block machines. Different steel and wear-resistant material options are selected according to customer preferences and production requirements. The paving stone measures 128 mm in width and 238 mm in length. Moulds are prepared for 60 or 80 mm product heights, with 100 and 110 mm options available on request.
Zigzag Edge Profile and Chamfer Details
This model features alternating angular recesses and projections around its outline. Changes in direction along the long edges and corner transitions at the ends define its zigzag profile. A perimeter chamfer follows the outline of the upper surface.
Recess depths, projection positions, transition angles and side spacer details are specified in the product drawing. Mould cavities and tamper shoes are prepared around this geometry, with concrete filling, compaction and vertical product release considered at the narrower sections.
Machine-Specific Mould Layout
Product orientation and spacing between adjacent cavities are planned around the zigzag outline. The number of paving stones produced per cycle is determined alongside the production board dimensions, machine working area and mould mounting details.
The selected product height determines the required mould working height and tamper assembly configuration. The final layout is prepared for the customer’s machine and production requirements.
Technical Approval and Quotation
Before manufacturing, a technical drawing showing the product dimensions, zigzag profile, chamfers, spacer projections and cavity arrangement is submitted for customer approval. Material selection and final mould specifications are confirmed during quotation.
