Custom Steel Mould for 400 × 600 mm Grass Pavers
Block Mould manufactures the BM GS M1 as a custom steel mould for producing concrete grass pavers on industrial concrete block machines. The finished paver measures 400 mm wide, 600 mm long and 80 mm high. Different steel and wear-resistant material options are available according to customer preferences and production requirements.
Lattice Geometry and Internal Openings
This model's interconnected concrete ribs form diagonally oriented square openings for grass and infill. Recesses and projections around the outer edge complete its distinctive profile.
Opening dimensions, concrete rib widths and junctions are defined together in the mould design. Mould cores form the openings, while the tamper shoe contact surfaces shape the top of the concrete lattice. Concrete filling into narrow sections, compaction and working clearances for product release are evaluated during design.
Machine-Specific Mould Layout
The 400 × 600 mm external dimensions and recessed perimeter are considered together when arranging cavities on the production board. The number of pavers produced per cycle depends on the machine model, usable board area and required spacing between cavities.
The 80 mm product height is incorporated into the mould box and tamper assembly design. Mounting details are prepared for the customer's machine.
Technical Drawing Approval and Quotation
A technical drawing showing external dimensions, lattice openings, concrete rib widths and mould layout is submitted for customer approval before manufacturing. Final mould specifications are confirmed during quotation. Manufacturing follows the approved drawing and specifications.
