Drop-Shaped Interlocking Paving Stone Mould
Block Mould manufactures steel moulds for producing the BM PS M5 paving stone on industrial concrete block machines. Different steel and wear-resistant material options are available according to customer preferences and production requirements. The paving stone measures 137 mm in width and 227 mm in length. Moulds are prepared for 60 or 80 mm product heights, with 100 and 110 mm options available on request.
Product Profile and Surface Details
The broad section with clipped corners and the narrower extension form this model’s distinctive drop-shaped outline. The dividing line across the upper surface, perimeter chamfers and side spacer projections are defined together in the product drawing.
Transitions between the broad and narrow sections, corner details and the cross-section of the surface line are considered when designing the mould cavities and tamper shoes. Working clearances are evaluated for concrete compaction and vertical product release.
Mould Layout for Your Machine
The orientation of the wide and narrow sections on the production board is reviewed alongside cavity spacing. The number of paving stones produced per cycle depends on the board dimensions, machine working area and mould mounting configuration.
The product height selected when ordering determines the required mould working height and tamper assembly configuration.
Technical Approval and Quotation
Before manufacturing, a technical drawing showing the product dimensions, outline, surface details and cavity arrangement is submitted for customer approval. Material selection and final mould specifications are confirmed during quotation.
