Custom Steel Mould for 140 × 505 mm Hourdi Blocks
Block Mould manufactures the BM CBHS 14x50,5 M1 as a custom steel mould for producing concrete hourdi blocks on industrial concrete block machines. The finished block measures 140 mm wide and 505 mm long, with height options of 180 and 200 mm. Different steel and wear-resistant material options are available according to customer preferences and production requirements.
Three-Opening Block Geometry
This model has three internal openings arranged along its length, separated by two concrete webs. Opening shapes, web and outer wall thicknesses, and end-face groove details are defined in the dimensioned product drawing.
Mould cores form the three openings. Core positions and the tamper shoe profile are designed together to form the concrete walls and webs. Working clearances for concrete filling, compaction and product release are evaluated around this geometry.
Machine-Specific Mould Layout
The 505 mm product length and 140 mm width are evaluated alongside the usable production board area when planning the cavity arrangement. The number of blocks produced per cycle depends on the machine model and board dimensions.
The selected product height is incorporated into the mould and tamper assembly design. Mounting details are prepared for the customer's machine.
Technical Drawing Approval and Quotation
A technical drawing showing the product dimensions, three-opening geometry, end profiles and mould layout is submitted for customer approval before manufacturing. Final mould specifications are confirmed during quotation. Manufacturing follows the approved drawing and specifications.
