Custom Steel Mould for 200 × 400 mm Hollow Blocks
Block Mould manufactures the BM HBS 20x40 M1 as a custom steel hollow block mould for industrial concrete block machines. The finished block measures 200 mm in width and 400 mm in length, with two internal openings separated by a central concrete web. The required block height is specified when ordering.
Two-Opening Block Geometry
The internal opening dimensions, central web, outer wall thicknesses and end profiles are defined together in the block drawing. Mould cores form the openings, while the surrounding cavity surfaces define the block's external shape.
Core geometry and tamper shoe clearances are designed with concrete filling, compaction and product release in mind.
Machine-Specific Mould Layout
The mould box, tamper assembly and mounting details are prepared for the customer's concrete block machine. The number of blocks produced per cycle and their arrangement are evaluated alongside the machine model and production board dimensions.
For replacement moulds, photographs and measurements of the existing mould box, tamper assembly and machine connections help establish the required mounting configuration.
Technical Approval and Quotation
Before manufacturing, a technical drawing showing the block dimensions, opening geometry and mould layout is submitted for customer approval. Material selection and final mould specifications are confirmed during quotation.
