Custom Steel Mould for 200 × 200 mm Patterned Concrete Slabs
Block Mould manufactures the BM TS M1 T1 as a custom steel mould for producing concrete slabs with a geometric surface pattern. The specified product dimensions are 200 × 200 mm, with a thickness of 20–40 mm. Different steel and wear-resistant material options are available according to customer preferences and production requirements.
Geometric Pattern and Edge Details
This model features linear geometric motifs surrounding square surface areas. Pattern line widths, depths and distances from the edges define the finished slab's appearance.
The technical drawing specifies the pattern boundaries and edge finishes of each slab. These details are reviewed alongside the intended pattern arrangement when slabs are placed together. For reproducing an existing design, dimensioned drawings, close-up photographs or a sample help establish the surface details.
Forming the Patterned Surface
The mould and pressing surfaces that form the pattern are prepared according to the approved product geometry. Concrete filling into fine pattern details, compaction and product release are evaluated together during design.
The selected slab thickness is incorporated into the mould and tamper assembly design. Surface and edge details are considered alongside the working clearances required for release.
Machine Layout and Technical Approval
Cavity count and arrangement depend on the 200 × 200 mm product dimensions, usable production board area and machine specifications. Mould connections and the tamper assembly are prepared for the customer's machine.
A technical drawing showing product dimensions, pattern details and mould layout is submitted for customer approval before manufacturing. Final mould specifications are confirmed during quotation.
