Diamond-Shaped Paving Stone Mould
Block Mould manufactures steel moulds for producing the BM PS M11 paving stone on industrial concrete block machines. Steel and wear-resistant material options are selected according to customer preferences and production requirements. The specified product width and length are 193 × 326 mm. Moulds are prepared for 60 or 80 mm product heights, with 100 and 110 mm options available on request.
Angled Profile and Corner Details
This model’s diamond-shaped outline features acute and obtuse corners. A perimeter chamfer follows the angled edges of the flat upper surface. Side lengths, corner angles, tip transitions and side spacer projections are defined in the dimensioned product drawing.
At the narrow tips, the meeting of the chamfers and the corner transitions are considered when designing the mould cavities and tamper shoes. Concrete filling, compaction and working clearances for vertical product release are evaluated in these areas.
Machine-Specific Mould Layout
Product orientation on the production board, the arrangement of angled edges and spacing between adjacent cavities are planned together. Output per cycle is determined according to the board dimensions, machine working area and mould mounting configuration.
The selected product height defines the mould working height and tamper assembly configuration. Edge angles and spacer projections affecting the fit between laid pavers follow the approved drawing.
Technical Approval and Quotation
Before manufacturing, a technical drawing showing product dimensions, side lengths, corner angles, chamfers and cavity arrangement is submitted for customer approval. Material selection and final mould specifications are confirmed during quotation.
