Custom Hourdi and Ceiling Block Moulds
Block Mould designs and manufactures custom hourdi block moulds and ceiling block moulds for different brands and models of concrete block machines. Each mould is engineered according to the customer’s machine specifications, production board dimensions, approved product drawing, required product height and production conditions.
Hourdi blocks, also known in different markets as ceiling blocks or hollow floor infill blocks, can be manufactured in different widths, lengths, heights, wall thicknesses and internal cavity arrangements. Depending on the product design, the blocks may have side projections, commonly described as ears or flanges, or a simpler external geometry.
Each hourdi and ceiling block mould project is evaluated according to:
Machine brand and exact model
Production board dimensions
Required product length, width and height
External wall and internal web thicknesses
Internal cavity geometry
Eared or earless product design
Number and arrangement of mould cavities
Tamper shoe dimensions and operating clearances
Machine connection and mounting details
Expected production conditions
The mould cavity geometry, internal cores, dividers and tamper components are designed according to the approved concrete product dimensions. Special attention is given to wall thicknesses, cavity transitions, component alignment and operating clearances because these details may affect concrete filling, product release and dimensional consistency.
Block Mould offers different material and performance options for hourdi and ceiling block mould manufacturing. The material configuration and manufacturing method are selected according to the mould design, vibration conditions, expected production intensity, abrasion level and customer requirements.
Before manufacturing begins, a technical drawing is prepared showing the product dimensions, cavity arrangement and main mould details. Production starts after the drawing and technical specifications have been reviewed and approved by the customer.
