Block Mould designs and manufactures custom 20 × 40 cm hollow block moulds for different brands and models of concrete block machines.

The BM HBS 20x40 M1 model is developed for the production of hollow concrete blocks with nominal product dimensions of 200 × 400 mm. Product heights such as 180 mm and 200 mm can be manufactured according to the customer’s requirements, approved block drawing and machine configuration.

During mould design, the external product dimensions, internal cavity geometry, wall thicknesses, concrete filling areas and mould cavity arrangement are evaluated together. These details are important for achieving the required block geometry, suitable concrete distribution and stable production.

Block Mould offers different material and performance options for hollow block mould production.

Standard Series – S235JR / EN 10025-2 (St37-2 1.0038)

Suitable for standard production requirements where a practical balance between manufacturing cost, structural strength and reliable operation is required.

Professional Series – S355J2 / EN 10025-2 (St52-3 1.0577)

Suitable for more demanding production conditions, intensive vibration and longer operating cycles.

Hardox Series – Hardox® 400, Hardox® 500 or Hardox® 600

Wear-resistant steel options can be used according to the mould design, abrasion conditions and expected production intensity.

Before manufacturing begins, a technical drawing is prepared showing the concrete block dimensions, internal cavity geometry, mould cavity arrangement and machine connection details. Production starts after the drawing and technical specifications have been reviewed and approved by the customer.

Product weight may vary according to block height, wall thickness, cavity geometry, concrete density and production conditions. For this reason, the final product weight and pieces-per-square-metre value should be confirmed according to the approved block design.
